Question
What progress has the Cabinet Minister made in developing a plan with targets to reduce child poverty?
Answer
Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Equality (Sioned Williams)
We are developing a new child poverty strategy with specific and ambitious poverty reduction targets. In June, I met with the Tackling Child Poverty External Reference Group to hear their views as we commence this work, and we will continue to engage over the coming period to ensure that the views and input from experts in the field are heard and considered as the work develops.
