Question
What plans does the Welsh Government have to implement Benedict’s Law in Wales?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Education and the Welsh Language (Anna Brychan)
The Welsh Government is considering the implications of Benedict’s Law for Wales, alongside wider developments across the UK, as part of our ongoing work to strengthen guidance and support for learners with healthcare needs.
To inform this work, we will engage with key stakeholders during the autumn to gather evidence, understand experiences, and consider how best to support learners with allergies and other healthcare needs in educational settings.
