Question
Does the Welsh Government communicate with asylum seekers due to leave dispersal accommodation encouraging them to stay in Wales?
Answer
Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Equality (Sioned Williams)
Decisions about where an individual lives after leaving Home Office asylum accommodation are a matter for the individual. The Welsh Government does not communicate with individuals for the purpose of encouraging them to remain in Wales.
