Answer
Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Equality (Sioned Williams)
During 2025-26, the Welsh Government provided £647,695 to the Ethnic Minorities and Youth Support Team (EYST). This funding supports advice services for ethnic minority groups, youth work, race equality activity linked to the Anti-racist Wales Action Plan, lived experience work on child poverty in minority ethnic communities, and associated service costs.
The funding comprised: a three-year Single Advice Fund grant of £101,458; a three-year Strategic Voluntary Youth Work Organisation grant of £86,628; a two-year Race Equality grant of £418,396; a one-year lived experience grant of £27,340 relating to 2024-25 costs; and £13,873 service costs for panel costs, training and secondments.
