Plaid Cymru Debate - Rail infrastructure funding
Plaid Cymru's Heledd Fychan asked the Senedd to note and regret what she described as underfunding of Welsh rail, and to call on the Welsh Government to press the UK Government. Labour's Jane Hutt replaced the whole motion with wording welcoming UK Government steps and listing Welsh Government aims. The Senedd agreed that version.
- Motion without amendment
Whether to agree Plaid Cymru's original motion on rail funding, as written, with no changes.
Rejected - Amendment 1, tabled in the name of Jane Hutt
Whether to accept Jane Hutt's Labour amendment, which deletes Plaid Cymru's motion and replaces it with wording welcoming UK Government steps and setting out Welsh Government rail aims.
Agreed - Motion as amended
The final vote on the motion as changed by Amendment 1, which now held only Labour's wording welcoming UK Government steps and listing Welsh Government aims.
