Plaid Cymru Debate - Welsh Government performance during the Sixth Senedd
Plaid Cymru's Heledd Fychan asked the Senedd to note Wales's record on health, jobs, child poverty and schools, and to call for more devolved powers. The Welsh Conservatives and Welsh Labour each tabled replacement wording. The Senedd rejected both amendments and the original motion, so nothing was agreed.
- Motion without amendment
The vote on Plaid Cymru's original motion, as written, criticising the Welsh Government's record and calling for more devolution and independence.
Rejected - Amendment 1, tabled in the name of Paul Davies
The Conservatives' Paul Davies proposed replacing the motion with wording that blames the Welsh Government and Plaid Cymru's Co-operation Agreement for the problems listed and backs a Welsh Conservative government.
Rejected - Amendment 2, tabled in the name of Jane Hutt
Labour's Jane Hutt proposed replacing the motion with wording praising the Welsh Government's record and backing joint work with the UK Labour government for fairer funding.
