An independent review of the evidence relating to the environmental impacts of gamebird releases has been commissioned through Environment Platform Wales. The final report is expected shortly and will be considered alongside wider evidence, legal and scientific advice before any decisions are taken on the Welsh Government’s policy on the licensing of gamebird releases.
