Will the Minister provide an update on the provision of good quality wi-fi on the Maesteg to Cheltenham trains?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Climate Change
All Transport for Wales (TfW) trains provide free Wi-Fi for the passengers using the service. The speed of the Wi-Fi can be impacted by the strength of the 4g mobile data signal available which can vary along TfW’s routes. We will be introducing brand new trains onto the Maesteg and Cheltenham routes as part of our £800m investment in new rolling stock which will provide a number of improvements including improved Wi-Fi, more spaces for bicycles and improved passenger comfort.
