What plans will the Welsh Government put in place to enable sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) checks at custom facilities in Wales following the our departure from the European Union?

Atebwyd gan Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, and Trefnydd
The Welsh Government is working with relevant agencies and local authorities on the provision of border control posts where checks can be undertaken on live animals and animal products, plants and plant products, and high-risk food and feed. This will allow us to verify that traders are meeting the standards expected for imports into Great Britain and provide assurances around biosecurity and food safety.
