Atebwyd gan First Minister (Mark Drakeford)
Last Friday I announced that from 7 August, fully vaccinated individuals (after 14 days has passed), and under 18-year-olds will no longer need to self-isolate if they are contacts of positive cases. This will have a significant impact on the number of people who receive notifications from the App.
Other changes in the App were made on Monday 6 August which will result in fewer contacts being told to self-isolate. Previously, the App looked for close contacts five days before a positive test result, but now the App will only look two days prior to a positive test, in line with our Test Trace Protect (TTP) policy.
