What discussions has the Minister had with rail operators to provide a service to Pembroke Dock for passengers travelling to and from Ireland?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Climate Change
I have asked Transport for Wales (TfW) to work with Irish Ferries to ensure the optimum timing of ferry services to ensure that there is a reliable public transport connection. The TfW Regional Stakeholder Forums proactively engage with multiple stakeholders from the leisure, tourism, education, local authority and health sectors on a quarterly basis. The Mid and West Wales Stakeholder Manager for TfW has engaged with Pembroke and Fishguard docks to look at solutions and means of improving integration between sea and rail.
