What consideration has the Minister given to inviting Little Amal to Wales to focus attention on the needs of refugees?

Raising awareness of the challenges which people seeking sanctuary face and the opportunities they bring to our communities and economy is a key aspect of the Welsh Government’s Nation of Sanctuary Plan. The Walk with Amal project is a great way to raise public awareness and we are aware the tour has a busy schedule travelling across Europe, through 8 countries and over 60 cities, ending in the UK in Manchester. We have made contact with the organisers to explore whether it might be possible to bring the Little Amal tour to Wales.
