Since the appointment of Mark Drakeford as First Minister, how many chairs of public bodies and other authorities have been appointed by Welsh Ministers?

From 12 December 2018 - 31 August 2021 a total of 30 chairs have been appointed by Welsh Ministers to public bodies in Wales. These appointments relate to public bodies listed in the Order in Council at the time of appointment, which makes provision for regulation by the Commissioner for Public Appointments in accordance with the Governance Code on Public Appointments. The total includes appointments made through competition, re-appointments and direct appointments and based on the date agreed by Ministers.
