The Innovative Housing Programme has provided more than £145m in grant and loan funding to local authorities and housing associations in Wales, to build more than 2,000 low carbon homes. Around half of the homes funded under the programme have been built to date.
For each year of the programme, the following number of homes were supported:
• 2017-18: 228 homes
• 2018-19: 604 homes
• 2019-20: 571 homes
• 2020-21: 638 homes.
A breakdown by region is also provided:
• North Wales: 383 homes
• Mid Wales: 95 homes
• South West Wales: 547 homes
• South East Wales: 1,016 homes.
