Will the Minister make a statement on the availability of the flu vaccine from GPs in Blaenau Gwent?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Health and Social Services
Flu vaccine supplies for use in GP surgeries are ordered directly by each practice and generally arrive in batches through the vaccination season. The majority of the supply was delivered to GPs in September, with further deliveries scheduled for dates in October and November. GPs and pharmacies who find themselves short of stock later in the season will be able to access a UK-wide central vaccine stockpile, details of which will be issued to GPs, pharmacies, health boards and trusts, shortly.
