What plans does the Welsh Government have to establish walk-in centres for booster jabs?

Each health board plans the deployment of the vaccine to take account of local circumstances while maintaining an effective and smooth roll-out.
In Wales, heath boards are currently offering vaccine by invitation to help maximise attendance and ensure clinics can run in the most efficient way. There are currently no plans to introduce walk-in centres for boosters but as always, health boards will continue to keep their deployment arrangements under review.
Those eligible are encouraged to take up their COVID-19 booster when they receive their appointment.
