What consideration has the Welsh Government given to the impact on home insurance premiums of its free tree offer to every household?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Climate Change
The Welsh Government’s new initiative to provide every household in Wales the opportunity to plant a free native tree either in their own garden, or planted on their behalf within a woodland, is entirely optional. Those who choose to plant a tree in their garden will be given the appropriate advice and guidance, from experts in the Woodland Trust in Wales, on tree species, size and suitability for their garden as well as best management practice. This is just one very important way that people in Wales can play their part in tackling climate change.
