Will the Minister state whether households will be able to donate trees obtained through the Welsh Government’s free tree planting scheme to community organisations and similar groups?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Climate Change
The Welsh Government wants to encourage volunteer community organisations to take part in the delivery of our trees campaign. We will be giving households that don’t have space to plant their own tree the opportunity to have a tree planted on their behalf, and community organisations will be encouraged to play a part in this. Community organisations that would like to get involved should contact the Woodland Trust. Further detail about how to get involved will be published on a dedicated Woodland Trust webpage by the end of February
