Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Climate Change
The three local authorities making up South Wales West have all submitted their revised active travel network maps to the Welsh Government, which will now be assessed before they can be approved. These maps will form the foundation for the creation of active travel routes in South Wales West in the future.
We have allocated a total of £8,350,200 to South Wales West authorities for 2021/22 from our Active Travel Fund. £2,327,000 of this is made available as a core allocation which allows local authorities greater opportunities and flexibility to progress smaller scale schemes and undertake development work for more complex schemes.
The application window for the Active Travel Fund for 2022/23 closes on 31 January 2022. The core allocations available for the three local authorities total £2,533,000 for the coming financial year.
