Ateb
Atebwyd gan First Minister (Mark Drakeford)
Social media is an established communication channel used by governments worldwide as an important way of communicating with the public. The Welsh Government includes social media as part of an integrated communications and marketing approach. Social media has played a significant role during the pandemic as a means of quickly reaching a range of audiences traditionally less-engaged with mainstream media, in a way that is clear, engaging and accessible to all.
Our content is designed to inform and engage people on the major issues facing them, including vital public health information, changes to the law and how to access financial support available to tackle the cost of living crisis. Social media also helps us to engage directly with people online to identify any misunderstanding of key messages and address sources of misinformation.
