Atebwyd gan Minister for Education and the Welsh Language
For the 2022/23 financial year, Bridgend schools and settings will receive £5.7M via the Pupil Development Grant, Early Years and EOTAS elements.
In addition, the PDG Access Fund provides support for families into the cost of the school day, available for eligible learners in every compulsory year group (Reception to Year 11). In recognition of the pressures facing families, on 14 March we announced an additional one off payment of £100 to every child or young person eligible for PDG Access for the upcoming school year. This takes funding for PDG Access to over £23M nationally of which many families in Bridgend will be able to claim.
