What discussions has the First Minister had with foreign ambassadors about increasing the number of consulates in Wales?

I regularly meet with members of the UK based Diplomatic Corps and discuss a range of issues including, where appropriate, the potential to locate Consulates in Wales. However, governments’ decisions on where to locate their Consulates are ultimately a decision for them and we will continue to work closely with Embassies and High Commissions irrespective of whether they have a Consulate in Wales.
