What assessment has the Welsh Government made of the adequacy of psychosocial provision for a) children and b) adults with cystic fibrosis in Wales?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Health and Social Services
The Welsh Health Specialised Service Committee (WHSSC) is responsible for commissioning Cystic Fibrosis care in Wales. It works with the Cystic Fibrosis care providers that it commissions to ensure that they are able to meet the standards contained in WHSSC’s Cystic Fibrosis Service Specification, which is itself in line with appropriate national standards and benchmarking.
It is therefore for WHSSC and the care providers to ensure there is adequate access to psychosocial provision in line with the Service Specification.
