How much has the Welsh Government spent on surveys for high-rise buildings impacted by fire safety issues, broken down by recipient company?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Climate Change
Costs of £520,000 have been incurred on survey work up until the end of September 2022. This includes both digital and intrusive surveys.
Regarding specific recipient company data, this question is a request for recorded information and as such has been passed to the appropriate Division for answer as a Freedom of Information request.
We urge managing agents to act as swiftly as possible to allow access, so the remainder of intrusive surveys can be completed. Until all surveys are carried out, we do not have a complete picture of the fire safety issues to be addressed.
