Will the Welsh Government provide an update on its work with local authorities to assist them in complying with the Public Services Vehicle Accessibility (PSVAR) Regulations 2000?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Climate Change
The Public Services Vehicle Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR2000) are a reserved matter.
These regulations already apply to all vehicles used on registered local bus services across the UK.
Welsh Government officials continue to work closely with the Association of Transport Coordinators (the umbrella organisation that represents transport co-ordinators across the 22 local authorities in Wales) and the Department for Transport in its on-going work on PSVAR2000 to help ensure that all forms of transport are accessible to all passengers.
