Atebwyd gan Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, and Trefnydd
The Welsh Government continues to support farmers across Wales including our commitment to continuing the Basic Payment Scheme until the end of 2023 which provides financial certainty to farm businesses during this extremely challenging time. Additionally, earlier this year we established transitional support schemes worth £227 million over three years to support farmers, foresters, land managers and food businesses. Farmers can find details of support through a Welsh Government webpage on addressing high production costs in the farming sector, as well as links to information and guidance from other organisations.
