What is the timetable for completing the building safety surveys under the Welsh building safety fund?

As the member will be aware, building safety forms part of the Co-operation Agreement.
Our consultants, PRP are working at pace to complete all required intrusive surveys subject to access to properties being granted. In some cases, our consultants have faced restricted access, which has delayed our programme of surveys. I would urge responsible persons to do all they can to facilitate access, so that our surveyors can continue this important work.
Survey reports, produced by the consultants will be sent directly to the Responsible Owner who submitted the original expression of interest. This will highlight any further steps the consultant considers necessary, which may include the need for further investigations to take place on specific elements of the building.
The Leaseholder Support Scheme has received 10 applications to date. Six of these have decided not to proceed; one applicant is in receipt of independent financial advice, and three are being taken forward for purchase.
