How much would it cost to study and assess road safety on the A40 at Raglan?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Climate Change
Multiple issues have been raised on this section of the A40, examples being: active travel, junction improvement, road safety, and in order to review them holistically, a WelTAG study would have to be implemented which would evaluate appropriate solutions that would address all of these concerns.
Prior to starting a WelTAG study, work would be required to establish the scope and extent in order to obtain an indicative cost and programme. This initial feasibility work could cost up to £50,000, depending on surveys and data required. The WelTAG work from there to produce solutions is dependent on the outcome of this initial stage.
