Welsh Government land and property assets, other than operational assets such as roads, are registered with the UK Land Registry. The Land Registry data is available free of charge to registered users at: Home | DataMapWales (gov.wales), as ‘publicly owned land’.
Valuations of our assets are undertaken by portfolio. Independent valuations are carried out when individual assets are bought or sold, the price forming part of the Land Registry record.
Other valuations are carried out for commercial and management purposes and remain confidential to Welsh Government.
