What consideration has the Welsh Government given to introducing a statutory case load cap for social work teams working with children and families?

Social Care Wales commissioned independent work on the terms and conditions of social workers earlier this year. This work identified that where they do not already exist, caseload policies should be developed for social workers in local authorities. Social Care Wales, Welsh Government and local authority partners continue to work on the findings from this work.
