What discussions has the Minister had with bus operators in Wales to increase the number of villages and towns that have a bus service?

Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Climate Change
Welsh Government has provided emergency funding totalling over £150m to the bus industry since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic to maintain the operation of vital bus services in communities across Wales as patronage continues to recover against the backdrop of increased costs.
We have also funded Fflecsi pilots, which have shown that demand-responsive travel can provide a more flexible and adaptable service, with particular success in rural communities. However, we need to do more to improve how bus services are delivered and our white paper: One Network, One Timetable, One Ticket sets out our vision to reform and improve bus networks across Wales.
