What assessment has the Welsh Government undertaken of the impact of reported delays to establishing regional gender identity clinics in England on young people in Wales?

Atebwyd gan Minister for Health and Social Services
We are committed to improve gender identity services for our young people in Wales. The Welsh Health Specialist Services Committee (WHSSC) continue to commission the Gender Identity Development pathway (GIDs) through NHS England. The current pathway will remain available until the interim service specification is finalised following the recent consultation by NHS England, and the early adopter sites are operational.
As the service moves to a regional model led by specialist children’s hospitals, the waiting list will be reviewed as part of the process of moving from the current to the interim model.
Officials meet with WHSSC on a monthly basis to review progress.
