What discussions has the Welsh Government had with the UK Government about any consequentials for Wales stemming from the proposed £26.9m package to help charities and community groups in Northern Ireland that are facing a funding crisis as money from the European Social Fund comes to an end?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Economy
There is no consequential funding for Wales from this funding. It is part of and not additional to the Shared Prosperity Fund announced by UK Government for Northern Ireland.
Wales remains £1.1bn worse off (2021-2025) due to the Shared Prosperity Fund not fully replacing EU Structural and Rural funds.
