What consideration is Transport for Wales given to acquiring class 68/Mk5 combinations from TransPennine Express?

The Class 68 and Mark 5 trains are currently on lease with TransPennine Express. TfW don’t have any plans regarding the Class 68 locomotives and the Mk5 carriages. Transport for Wales continues to develop their rolling stock strategy to meet the need of the network in line with our Net Zero commitments.
