Cwestiwn

Will the Minister outline how much money in total is provided by the Barnett formula for health and social care, broken down by individual health board?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Finance and Local Government
The Barnett formula determines changes to our block grant, arising from changes to funding in England on programmes that are devolved. The Barnett formula does not determine what the block grant should be spent on. It is for Welsh Ministers, with the Senedd’s approval, to decide how to allocate the Welsh Government’s budget which includes funding from the block grant, devolved taxes, and capital borrowing.
