How many training places were funded through the £200,000 fund for Social Care Wales?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Social Services
The Welsh Government provides a significant amount of funding to Social Care Wales to manage and fund a range of training placements for all aspects of the social care workforce across Wales. An example of this is the Social Care Workforce Development Programme which receives over £7 million to provide around 110,000 training placements on a range of subjects, from helping the workforce to obtain qualifications and management awards; and develop resilience and human resource infrastructures to deliver workforce development functions.
If the Member for South Wales East could provide more detail on the specific programme she outlines, we can provide the number of placements that this has generated.
