Cwestiwn
Mae'r cwestiwn a'r ateb yn Saesneg gan nad oes fersiwn Gymraeg ar gael.
Will the Minister confirm whether there are any plans to levy a charge in Wales to be put towards the local authority costs of administering the service of the application for a blue badge, noting that the charge in England is £10, and in Scotland £20?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Climate Change
Since 2011 blue badges have been free to applicants in Wales. The Welsh Government funds local authorities to produce and issue blue badges through the Revenue Support Grant (RSG), although local authorities may charge a fee of up to £10 to replace a lost, stolen or damaged badge. We have no intention of changing our policy, which provides a lifeline for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
