I have previously announced that an expanded Communities for Work Plus (CfW+) Programme would continue from 1 April 2023, following the closure of the ESF funded Communities for Work (CfW) and Parents, Childcare and Employment employability (PACE) programmes.
CfW+ is a £27m per annum Welsh Government community-based employment programme delivered through all 22 Local Authorities across Wales that supports those most disadvantaged in the labour market which includes parents and carers. This is a flexible programme that is tailored to the needs of the individual and can remove most of the barriers parents face when returning to the labour market including the acquisition of skills.
