What assessment has the Minister made of the degree to which the deployment of a new online booking system for supply cover will reduce workload in schools?

As part of the scoping work full consideration has been given to workload implications and to ensuring that we have in place a model that will meet the needs of schools, supply staff and learners. I have been mindful of the need to not create additional workload for schools and to ensure that the new model is accessible and can be adopted by schools easily.
The platform will enable schools to search for and book fully vetted supply staff directly. The long-term aim is for the system to simplify the supply booking process, and enable schools to manage bookings, pay for cover and access their supply data on one system.
