Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Education and the Welsh Language
Learning about the environment is mandatory in the Curriculum for Wales for learners at all stages. The statements of what matters for the Humanities and Science and Technology Areas of Learning and Experience include explicit references to the environment, to ensure that learners engage with the importance of nature and biodiversity. This provides opportunities for schools to select a range of topics and learning situations related to the environment that are appropriate to their learners.
