Farmers benefit from extensive permitted development rights. Our planning policy and guidance on farm diversification is set out in Planning Policy Wales and Technical Advice Note 6 – Planning for Sustainable Rural Communities. Planning policy and guidance is kept under constant review. There have been no recent discussions with local authorities on this matter.
