Officials have a long-standing engagement with the NFU Cymru, which has led to the development of a number of resources and materials to support schools engage with farming related topics.
This has included streaming learning to schools across Wales during Welsh Farming Week in June of this year. The Welsh Government promoted these sessions through the school Dysg Newsletters and continue to have ongoing dialogue with the NFU to explore further support.
There are a range of farming related resources on Hwb which schools can use when designing a curriculum for their learners, including materials which explore the running and managing a farm for learners who are considering pursuing this profession.
