Does the Welsh Government intend to publish a revised timeline for the missed actions included in the Welsh Government strategic workforce implementation plan?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Health and Social Services
This is a complex programme of work with many interdependencies involving many partner organisations and networks. It is inevitable that some of the actions will have a revised timetable as the work progresses.
The Strategic Workforce Implementation Board, which is chaired by the CEO of NHS Wales and is accountable to the me as the Minister for Health and Social Services, are receiving regular updates on the progress of the plan. The updates include comprehensive risk assessments of barriers to progression and completion of actions.
I committed, in my Written Statement, to report back to members of the Senedd on the progress of this plan, and this update will be provided to members in due course.
