How does the Welsh Government intend to allocate funds to grass-roots music venues in Wales as a result of the consequential funding received as part of the UK Government's allocation of £5 million for Arts Council England's Supporting Grassroots Music Fund?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism
The Welsh Government will not receive any consequential funding following the announcement made by UK Government on 13th June. It has been confirmed that all the £77m announced for the creative industries on 13th June will come from existing Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) budgets. If this had been new funding, Wales could have expected to receive Barnett consequentials.
