Further to WQ88717, will the Minister state what steps the Welsh Government will take to promote Traswfynydd ahead of the site selection process by Great British Nuclear?

Cwmni Egino is already in regular dialogue with Great British Nuclear and will continue to engage with the GBN team over the coming months as the issue of site selection increasingly comes into focus as part of GBN’s initial SMR deployment programme.
I am also in contact with Andrew Bowie, Minister for Nuclear and Networks to make the case for sites in Wales and aim to meet with him again in the autumn to review progress made by Cwmni Egino and GBN on practical ways of future co-operative working.
