How much has the Welsh Government spent to date on marketing the rollout of 20mph ahead of its implementation?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Climate Change
A comprehensive national communications and behaviour change campaign is underway to prepare for the implementation of the default 20mph speed-limit. This is being delivered through a range of communications channels, including social media, out of home advertising, and direct mail, so that we reach the widest possible range of audiences ahead of the change.
We are also supporting local authorities with their own communications and have developed a local communications toolkit, available on our website 20mph campaign: promotional material | GOV.WALES.
To date, £503,655 has been spent.
