Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Climate Change
The overall anticipated costs of the 20mph leaflet, inclusive of applicable VAT and covering design, production, delivery, and translation into accessible and alternative language versions, is estimated at £134,900. This is included within the overall costs of the policy change, currently estimated at £32m.
The leaflet explains how to recognise the new speed limit, and the benefits of 20mph. These benefits include an estimated 40% fewer collisions, 6-10 lives saved and 1,200-2,000 people avoiding injury every year. And estimated casualty prevention savings of up to £92m every year.
