How will the Welsh Government future-proof ICT and telecommunication networks in response to worsening extreme weather events and increasing temperatures as a result of climate change?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Climate Change
Responsibility for resilience rests with the UK Government, Ofcom and the telecommunications industry.
The UK Government leads a cross government and industry forum called the Electronic Communications Resilience and Response Group (ECRRG) whose aim is to ensure the telecoms sector remains resilient to threats and risks to services.
Welsh Government officials are members of the ECRRG and will continue to engage with them as appropriate.
