Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, and Trefnydd
Our ambition is for all animals in Wales to have a good quality of life. Our priorities for animal welfare are set out in our Animal Welfare Plan for Wales. It includes a timetable for the delivery of key actions against our Programme for Government commitments and other animal welfare priorities. A key area of focus is the promotion of responsible ownership through engagement with stakeholders, adoption and sharing of best practice, and effective enforcement.
The aims of our plan are strategically aligned to the Wales Animal Health and Welfare Framework which seeks to maintain and improve standards for kept animals, protect public health, and contribute to the economy and the environment: Wales Animal Health Welfare Implementation Plan (gov.wales)
