What targets has the Welsh Government set to bring empty properties back into use over the next two years?

Long-term empty properties are a wasted housing resource and can become a blight on our communities. We have invested £50million over the next 2 years to bring up to 2,000 long-term empty properties across Wales back into use through a national empty homes grant scheme. This funding will accelerate our work to bring empty properties back into use and complement the existing schemes and measures we have in place, including our property loans, which have brought back nearly 1,800 properties back into use and supported improvements to a further 1,600 occupied homes.
